The AGPA
is a non-profit organization that meets monthly (except July and August). It provides a local forum for artists of all media to gather together to increase their knowledge, to network, and to reach out into the community through their creativity.
Art Rotation
Members also have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in participating local businesses on a rotating basis.
Monthly Meetings
Our meetings feature demonstrations by well known artists and teachers, as well as periodic critiques of member's works. There is usually a short business meeting to keep everyone informed of our latest projects and new opportunities.
How to Join the AGPA
Our membership is increasing with each meeting and function, and we are learning about our community and how we can be involved in it as artists. We are excited as artists to be able to share our knowledge and learn from other artists in our community.
Our Mission
We are committed to the advancement of visual arts in our community. As members we are dedicated to the promotion, practice, preservation and instruction of fine art. We hope to enhance our city by actively using our individual skills and creativity to make art more visible and to provide instructional opportunity to those who are interested in growing as artists while we grow ourselves.
